troubleshooting

Hello,

Location finder was installed but there is a problem im trying to work around and need your assistance. I need the search fields to be on the homepage but i need the results displayed on a seaparate page. Essentially we want people to search for a location on the homepage but we dont want all the locations displayed there since the module location is limited on space.

thanks,

Al

Re: troubleshooting

Al,

Thanks for your question. In order to accomplish what you are asking, the search fields/form needs to be in a seperate module and the search results need to be in it's own seperate module.

Cutopia Location Finder is a single module definition and therefore cannot be split into two. You can, however, upgrade to the Developer Edition with Source Code and customize the module to do what you are needing to do. If you are interested in upgrading, please send an email to support@cutopia.com.

Let me know if I can be of any further assistance.

Regards,

Matthew Pomar

Thanks Matthew,

I now have the developers edition, how would i accomplish this.  what files do i need to modify. I have created a search and succesfully posted the variables in the url. How would i grab those variables using Request.Querystring so the module works.

thanks,

Al

Re: troubleshooting

UserLocationList.ascx.cs handles the search so i think im asking what i would modify on that file to accomplish this.
